Who is the CDC Business Sector?

The CDC Business Sector is one of five sectors within CDC's Division of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances (DPSA), National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM), Coordinating Center for Information and Service (CCHIS). The CDC Business Sector establishes, maintains, and strengthens partnerships with business organizations and coalitions to protect and promote the public's health.
The Business Sector's priority is to advance CDC's missions by increasing the dissemination, reach and impact of CDC's evidence-based health products through enhanced business partner engagement, communication and networks.
How can the Business Sector help me?
CDC's Business Sector staff has knowledge and expertise to aid both businesses and CDC staff in building and cultivating relationships with each other for the mutual benefit of each organization. The Business Sector can help external businesses as follows:
- Identify CDC programs and staff to provide information or consultation.
- Provide access across CDC program areas to build cross-cutting programs on prevention, wellness or other related activities.
- Locate subject-matter experts.
- Locate possible programmatic partners.

- The National Business Group on Health;
- The National Business Coalition on Health; and
