The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) FY 2013 Recruitment and Outreach calendar is now available! Each year, the CDC, in partnership with its Human Capital and Resources Management Office (HCRMO), hosts and participates in a variety of recruitment and outreach events to attract and connect with talented individuals to identify qualified candidates and educate job seekers interested in available career opportunities. HCRMO works collaboratively with CDC centers, institutes and organizations to establish an annual recruitment and outreach calendar that takes into account the unique current and future staffing needs of the agency. It also provides members of the public the opportunity to meet and talk with knowledgeable CDC staff at recruitment and career-related events across the U.S.

In an effort to promote transparency, accountability, diversity and fiscal responsibility, the calendar contains detailed information regarding each event, including:

• Access to event-sponsored Web sites;
• Identified target audiences;
• Anticipated audience participation; and
• Department, agency and federal government employment and diversity initiatives and goals.

Please note: This calendar is a fluid document that will be updated throughout the year based on CDC funding and staffing needs. Fiscal Year 2014 events (beginning Oct. 1, 2013) are not reflected.
