PowerPoint Slide Sets on Outreach

These slide sets give background information on community outreach. They also contain lots of useful and practical “Do’s and Don’ts” tips on working with drug users. One of the slide sets describes a mobile outreach program in California.

Mark Kinzly from Yale in New Haven provided the following slide sets on outreach techniques and outreach worker burnout and relapse prevention.

The California state Office of AIDS funds county outreach programs for HIV testing known as Neighborhood Intervention Geared to High-Risk Testing (NIGHT).
