Pam Lutz - Associate Director for Policy
Pam Lutz is the Associate Director for Policy in the Office of Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (OSELS) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
During her 20-year public health career, Pam has served in numerous roles at the local, state, and federal levels. She has held field assignments as a public health advisor with the Los Angeles County Sexually Transmitted Disease Program; with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and the New York State Department of Health Immunization Programs as a program manager; and as the Officer-in-Charge of the CDC Minneapolis Quarantine Station. She has held policy positions in the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program, the Epidemiology Program Office, and the National Center for Public Health Informatics.
Pam served in a variety of roles in the Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response, including Deputy Strategy and Innovation Officer, Acting Deputy Director of the Division of State and Local Readiness, and Senior Policy and Issues Manager in the Division of State and Local Readiness. Most recently, she served as a Portfolio Manager in the Office of the Associate Director for Policy, Health Reform Implementation Office.
