Associate Director for Policy
Linnet Griffiths, MA, is associate director for policy at the Public Health Surveillance and Informatics Program Office (PHSIPO). She has more than 20 years of experience with federal agencies.
Before joining CDC, Ms. Griffiths served as a budget analyst with the Department of the Navy; the U.S. Census Bureau; and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. In 1998, she joined CDC as a program analyst for the Office of Federal Programs at the National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (NCEH/ATSDR). In this position she managed various activities concerning ATSDR’s work at federal Superfund sites.
In 2004, she became team lead for performance integration in the NCEH/ATSDR Office of Financial and Administrative Services, which was responsible for NCEH/ATSDR budget and performance integration. In her position before joining PHSIPO, Ms. Griffiths served as team lead of the Appropriations Analysis and Communications Team in the Office of Formulation, Evaluation, and Analysis; Financial Management Office.
Ms. Griffiths received bachelor-of-science and master-of-arts degrees in business policy and finance from Bowie State University in Maryland.
