OMHD supports CDC's partnership activities by strengthening collaborations that advance the mission and goals of CDC and engaging partners in promoting health and preventing disease.

In 2010, Eleven of CDC's Cooperative Agreements supporting Racial & Ethnic Minority Populations were transferred back to OMHD,
after having sat with CDC's National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM),  Division of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances (DPSA) for a year.
Prior to the year at NCHM / DPSA,  OMHD had fully supported all 11 Cooperative Agreements since their inception.

The OD's two Senior Tribal Liaisons are moving from OMHD to the new CDC Office of State, Tribal, Local, & Territorial Support (OSTLTS), and will retain oversight and Project Officer responsibilities for the 2 Cooperative Agreements supporting the American Indian/Alaska Native populations.
See OSTLTS Cooperative Agreements and visit the
OSTLTS website directly at http://www.cdc.gov/ostlts/ for more information.
