Previous Committees of the Charles C. Shepard Science Award

The Committee for the Charles C. Shepard Science Award conducts all activities necessary to recommend to the Director of CDC the annual Charles C. Shepard Science Award recipients. It also coordinates all activities necessary for the presentation of the Science Award, and, when necessary, recommends policy and/or procedures necessary to finalize the Charles C. Shepard Science Award recipients.

The Charles C. Shepard Science Award is the preeminent honor recognizing excellence in science at CDC/ATSDR and can be awarded both for scientific publications and for lifetime scientific achievement.
