Lifting Techniques

Lifting is strenuous and requires proper training and technique in order to perform it safely. By lifting with your large, strong leg muscles instead of the small muscles of the back, you can prevent back injuries and reduce low back pain. The following guidelines are provided describing the various lifts that can be performed depending upon the load.
