News from the NPHPSP
CDC and the NPHPSP partners are pleased to
announce the availability of the new Version 2.0
performance assessment instruments. The three
NPHPSP performance assessment instruments – for
state public health systems, local public health
systems, and local governing entities – are
available for download in a PDF format and can
also be ordered from CDC through an
on-line
order form or via the CDC helpdesk.
The updated tools are the result of an 18-month
practice-driven revision process. As part of
this process, the NPHPSP worked with subject
matter experts to ensure the standards reflect
contemporary public health practice. The update
activities also included some streamlining and
other changes to improve the user-friendliness
of the tools. Click here to learn about the key
changes that were implemented.
