VADM Carmona's Visit to CDC on Monday 12-20 Updated Information

Due to inclement weather situations in the Washington,
D.C., area, the four Surgeons General will be unable to visit CDC today. Therefore,
the Commissioned
Corps All-Hands Meeting scheduled for 12:45 p.m. today is cancelled.
Notification will be provided when a new date is scheduled.
Attention: Change in start time and in uniform of the day
On Monday, December 20, 2004, Ms. Ellen Embrey, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense will visit CDC, accompanied by VADM Richard Carmona, United States Surgeon General, and Department of Defense Surgeons General Lt. General George Taylor, Lt. General Kevin Kiley, and Vice Admiral Donald Arthur.
You are invited to join VADM Carmona for a brief all-hands meeting at 12:45 p.m. in Auditorium B, Roybal Campus,1600 Clifton Road. All officers are requested to attend in person.
All CDC/ATSDR commissioned officers in Atlanta are to wear the PHS uniform on Monday December 20. Officers may elect to wear Summer Khaki, Summer Blue (salt and pepper), Winter Blue, or Service Dress Blue (SDB). The v-neck sweater may be worn with the Summer Khaki, Summer Blue, or SDB uniforms. The v-neck sweater is not to be worn under the SDB jacket.
