DEERS Update:
Officers are reminded the CDC/ATSDR Commissioned Corps Personnel Office provides USPHS ID Card processing services Monday — Friday, 8:00 — 11:00 AM and 1:00 — 2:00 PM by appointment. Services are offered to active duty members, retirees, and dependents. On average our office processes more than 2,000 ID cards per year along with other DEERS related services for eligible sponsors and dependents. This volume is best served by establishing a dedicated appointment schedule to serve all our customers. Officers can self-manage their personal information to ensure it remains updated by accessing the TRICARE website — DEERS section. The milConnect web site permits officers and family members to update and maintain personal address information, review VA benefits, review dependent information and much more from a centralized location. We encourage all officers to proactively check their ID cards expiration date to ensure optimal scheduling. Please contact our main office at 404-498-1800 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment or for other DEERS assistance
