The message only pertains to 2013 promotion eligible officers. All other affected officers will be notified at a future date.
Attention all 2013 promotion eligible officers! Please review the following pertinent billet informational links from the Division of Commissioned Corps Personnel and Readiness before continuing with the rest of this message.
The Promotion Information Report (PIR) now reflects the position title and position (billet) grade assigned as a result of the transformation to the Direct Access Billet System (DABS). Officers eligible for promotion in PY2013 should immediately review and confirm their position grade as it appears in the PIR. There will be a very short timeline in which to request corrections.
If there are discrepancies in billet title or grade, please follow the steps below:
1. If your billet title or grade is incorrect in the PIR, have your direct supervisor complete the attached Billet Correction spreadsheet.
- If the title is incorrect, the supervisor should select title from the attached Combined Billets Title and Standard Duties spreadsheet. All billet titles must correspond to either the respective professional or the multidisciplinary category (reference tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet)
- If your grade is incorrect, indicate the correct grade on Billet Correction spreadsheet
2. The supervisor must forward the completed Billet Collection spreadsheet to the POC LCDR Jamie Mutter (ZWY4@CDC.GOV ), Commissioned Corps Activity, by Noon, Friday November 9, 2012.
