Fatality Investigations of Youth Workers

teen waitress NIOSH and state partners have investigated deaths of youth less than 18 years of age through the Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) program. The purpose of these investigations is to better understand the circumstances that result in youth worker injury deaths. Each report includes a summary of the event resulting in the youth worker’s death, and recommendations that employers and others can take to prevent future similar deaths.
