Regulation(s):
Florida Statutes, Section 381.0075, regulates the body-piercing industry. Chapter 64E-19, Florida Administrative Code, prescribes the minimum sanitary and safety requirements related to the design, operation and maintenance of body-piercing salons and temporary establishments.
Florida Statutes, 877.04, prohibits tattooing except by a person licensed to practice medicine or dentistry, under chapters 458 and 459 or by a person under his or her general supervision, chapter 466.
