NIOSH announced the opportunity for the public to comment on the draft Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing (AgFF) Program plan, to implement the National Academies Program Evaluation Recommendations.

The Plan includes a brief overview of the NIOSH AgFF program and a review of the recently developed strategic goals with pertinent comments relative to the national academies recommendations.

The AgFF Program is requesting that stakeholders through a public comment period lasting until May 22, 2009, review this plan to ensure gaps have been identified, activities to meet the gaps prioritized, and plans for transitioning efforts into operational entities are developed.

Public Comment Period

Written comments on the document will be accepted through May 22, 2009 in accordance with the instructions below. All material submitted to NIOSH should reference Docket Number NIOSH-164. All electronic comments should be formatted as Microsoft Word and make reference to docket number NIOSH-164.

Comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. ET on May 22, 2009
