3.6.1 Promote “safe and lean” concepts such as those outlined in American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B11 TR7 on Designing for Safety and Lean Manufacturing.

3.6.2 Collaborate with the Safe and Lean Network to develop templates and mechanisms for sharing successful “lean” health and safety (H&S) projects.

3.6.3 Develop a mechanism to obtain and promote Safety & Health Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing projects to demonstrate the goals of PtD. Include successful projects in proposed PtD communications mechanisms.

3.6.4 Introduce the concepts of PtD to the Six Sigma training and certification organizations.
