GLOBAL COLLABORATIONS
Input: Partners
Occupational health professionals, employers, workers, researchers, public health experts, and governments all have inherent knowledge and concerns regarding the health and safety of workers throughout the world. Sharing information and successful practices that reduce risks to workers provides a global perspective on potential solutions. Identifying knowledge gaps helps in setting global research priorities. Collaborative research with international partners may include new funding or in-kind contributions which help to leverage research dollars. Partners also add expertise or specialized experience to the research teams, which benefits the research, analysis, interpretation, communication, and implementation of the results.
