NORA Construction Sector Strategic Goals

Goal 2.0: Reduce fatal and nonfatal injuries from contact with electricity among construction workers.

Intermediate Goal 2.1: Investigate ways to improve the performance of power line proximity warning alarms to protect operators of mobile vehicles, cranes, and nearby construction workers.

2.1.2 Design, construct, and field test at least one proposed proximity warning system for cranes and mobile vehicles, and work with equipment manufacturers to disseminate.
