  1. Anthony O'Dea says:
We have seen several accidents to our contractors due to falls on this type of scaffold, where having a steadying handhold, or rail, would have prevented the accident. this product is an ingenious idea, and one that is needed. I would like to see NIOSH support the research, development and promotion of this product.
  2. Gary Chipman says:
Thank you Mr. O'Dea for your valuable time and comment on this important matter , Your view is echoed by all the safty the officers I meet. Yes unfortunately the injuries, world wide, are numerous and severe, most of which are preventable by the Companion Guardrail ! Manufactures are afraid of new safty inventions that may have unforeseen risks, like a parra chute that dosent open,. NIOSH support would help remove that obstacle! For five years now, of the twenty or so volunteers using the Companion Guardrail who, by the way all say they will never work with out it again, there have been NO INJURIES! Thank you for your support! We will keep you posted.
