The National Occupational Injury Research Symposium (NOIRS) 2015 will be held on May 19, 20, & 21, 2015 in Kingwood, West Virginia at the Camp Dawson Training Center. Nestled in the hills of North Central West Virginia, Camp Dawson lies within close proximity of 50% of the nation’s population, and offers a unique and serene setting for our meeting.

Dining/Recreation

Camp Dawson has a dining facility, a restaurant (Liberty Restaurant), and a lounge (Liberty Lounge). Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available at the dining hall and restaurant; light foods sandwiches, beer and wine are available at the lounge. There is also a Post Exchange where you purchase sundries and souvenirs.

Recreational facilities onsite include an Olympic-size pool, an outdoor volleyball area, a fitness center, and paddle boats, canoes and bicycles (for rent).

Included in your registration packet will be a map of the facility, showing the conference center, rooms, and dining and recreational facilities, and information on hours of operation for dining and recreational facilities.

From the Pittsburgh airport (about 2 hours driving time):
From the airport, take I-376 East toward I-79/Pittsburgh.
At Exit 64A, take I-79 South toward Washington PA.
At Washington PA, I-79 merges with I-70; take I-70 East.
At Exit 21/Morgantown, return to I-79 South and continue into West Virginia.
At Exit 148, take I-68 East toward Cumberland.
At Exit 23, take WV 26 toward Bruceton Mills.
Follow Rt 26 South to the community of Albright. You will begin seeing signs for Camp Dawson.
Make a left onto St. Joe’s Road and go approximately 3 miles.
Turn right onto Country Club Road until you reach Camp Dawson.

From the Washington DC area (about 3 ½ hours driving time):
From the I-495 Beltway, take I-270 North toward Maryland.
At Exit 32, take I-70 West.
At Exit 1A (on the left), take I-68 West into West Virginia.
At Exit 23, take WV 26 toward Bruceton Mills.
Follow Rt 26 South to the community of Albright. You will begin seeing signs for Camp Dawson.
Make a left onto St. Joe’s Road and go approximately 3 miles.
Turn right onto Country Club Road until you reach Camp Dawson.

From Morgantown WV (about 50 minutes driving time):
Take I-68 East toward Cumberland.
At Exit 23, take WV 26 toward Bruceton Mills.
Follow Rt 26 South to the community of Albright. You will begin seeing signs for Camp Dawson.
Make a left onto St. Joe’s Road and go approximately 3 miles.
Turn right onto Country Club Road until you reach Camp Dawson.
