James Collins
 Dr. James Collins, Associate Director for Science for the Division of Safety Research, NIOSH. Dr. Collins has 25 years of experience as an Engineer and an Epidemiologist conducting laboratory and field research with the CDC/NIOSH. His recent research has focused on safe resident lifting and slip, trip, and fall prevention in nursing homes and hospitals. Dr. Collins is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Injury Control and Safety Promotion. During the past two decades he has authored 6 book chapters and had numerous journal articles published.
