Brad Boehler

Brad BoehlerBrad Boehler, P. Eng., Director of product safety for Skyjack, Inc., Guelph, Ontario, and an active member of standards committees in the United States, Canada, and worldwide. Mr. Boehler is the chairman of the ANSI/SIA A92.6 Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms sub-committee, and he is a member of the ANSI A92.3 Manually Propelled Elevating Work Platforms committee and the A92.5 Boom-Supported Elevating Work Platforms. In Canada, he is involved with the Canadian CSA B354 Elevating Work Platforms technical committee, as well as the international ISO Technical Committee 214 (TC 214) - Elevating Work Platforms. Within the industry, Mr. Boehler is an approved Aerial Work Platform Training (AWPT) senior instructor, sits on the AWPT Advisory Council and is the chairman of the AWPT Practical Evaluation Working Group.  He is also a member of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Executive Council and was selected as one of Lift and Access magazine's People of Distinction in 2006 for his continued involvement in the NIOSH scissor lift tip-over study.  Mr. Boehler is also actively involved in the NIOSH aerial lift fall protection study.
