Abstract
Several oxygenated organic compounds were commonly observed from reactions between different fragrance compounds and OH· and O3 including the dicarbonyl compounds glyoxal, methyglyoxal and 4-oxopentanal. From the experimental rate constants, the reactions of fragrance compounds with O3 or indoor air exchange are the most likely removal mechanisms.
