Abstract
The Trinidad State Junior College Occupational Safety and Health program began offering courses via distance learning in 1996. With the assistance of this Training Project Grant from NIOSH, all required and most elective courses for the TSJC Occupational Safety and Health Associate of Applied Science degree program were converted for Internet delivery over the past three years. Additionally, some curriculum changes were made as a result of the most recent program review and recommendations made by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Enrollment in the degree program has grown dramatically during this same time period, in part due to NIOSH funded tuitionships for students who don't have access to other types of financial assistance for their higher education
