Method of Agglomerating Fine Powders.
U S Pat 4 157 371 1979 Jun; :
Fine ore powders are agglomerated by discharging from a collector bin onto a rapidly rotating smooth horizontal disk. The particles are subjected to centrifugal force to move to the disk periphery. Water is sprayed on the powder at the point where the particles are discharged onto the disk and agglomerates are formed and fall over the edge of the disk.
