Abstract
A 2-foot carbon molecular sieve column will separate CO2, H2S, SO2, C2H6, and C3H8 from each other and from the gases H2, O2, N2, CH4, and CO. At 100C the column is particularly helpful for determining CO2 rapidly in the presence of the other gases listed. The method can be applied to analyzing off-gases from furnaces and kilns.
