Abstract
The U.S. Bureau of Mines is developing improved methods for predicting and monitoring the flow of in situ leach solution. Seismic tomography located fractured zones and saturated areas in field tests, which indicates promise for predicting flow patterns and for monitoring leach solution injected above the water table. Electromagnetic methods are also being evaluated.
