Abstract
This report describes a case study utilizing geostatistical techniques carried out using oridnary linear kriging and indicator kriging. Blast hole data from seven benches of the vantage one open pit of the alligator ridge mine were used. In addition, indicator variants of the moving window and inverse distance weighting methods were also used. Generally, the indicator methods were found to have worked very well, with errors of 5 pct or less when estimated recoveries were compared with production figures.
