Abstract
An electroplate of predetermined composition and thickness is provided. Thus, plating baths were made by melting nacn and kcn in an alumina crucible and electrolyzing, using an anode of platinum to form a pt-containing plating bath. This bath was used with a similarly prepared rh-containing bath to electrodeposit a plate of pt-rh alloy of the desired composition and thickness. The alloy deposits were pt 21-80, rh 79-20 pct.
