Abstract
This paper describes a hazard analysis of data from field checking both on the surface and underground at the minesite and the corroboration of lineaments as real geologic features in the subsurface by other geological and geophysical data. By crosscomparison in the computer, these data may also indicate the degree and type of hazard that can be associated with the lineaments, and computerized remote sensing analysis can minimize interpreter bias (or dependence on level of experience) and facilitate the lineament analysis, subsequent editing, and data comparison.
