Abstract
This report describes the development, construction, and characterization of a low-current electrochemical methane sensor and monitor. Over 80 prototypes were built and evaluated in an attempt to optimize the various physical and chemical parameters that control the response characteristics of a sensor and that would conform to Bureau standards. The report describes the experimental process in detail, and suggestions are given for future research.
