Abstract
This publication contains excerpts from Healthy People 2000. These excerpts deal only with the objectives for national health promotion and disease prevention that are related to occupational safety and health. Specific topics included work related injury deaths, nonfatal work related injuries, cumulative trauma disorders, occupational skin disorders, hepatitis-B infections among occupationally exposed workers, worksite occupant protection system mandates, occupational noise exposure, occupational lead (7439921) exposure, hepatitis-B immunizations, state occupational health and safety plans, occupational lung diseases, worksite health and safety programs, worksite back injury prevention and rehabilitation programs, state programs for small business safety and health, and clinical assessment of occupational health exposures.
