A health hazard evaluation at the management office of the Mazza Gallerie Productions (SIC-5310), Washington, D.C., was conducted. An environmental survey was performed on February 19, 1982. Office employees had complained that use of the xerographic copier had caused itching and burning eyes, headaches, and cough. Carbon- monoxide (630080) was present at about 7 parts per million (ppm) which was well below the recommended NIOSH limit of 35ppm. There were no formaldehyde or nonspecific volatile organics detected. The author concludes that no health hazard could be identified at the time of the survey.
