Abstract
Medical recordkeeping and surveillance are discussed in relation to the use of medical treatment records to identify safety and health hazards, and physical examination procedures to assure that employee health is not being compromised because of the work exposure. OSHA standards require certain specific examination procedures. Charts showing which tests are required for workers exposed to specific health hazards, according to adopted and proposed OSHA standards, are given. Guidelines for more uniform reporting on OSHA Log Form 100 and Summary Report Form OSHA 102 are provided. (Contract No. 210-76-0118)
