Abstract
The industrial sound level meter should be equipped with some type of scale graduated in steps of one decibel over a range of at least 15 decibels. A test is described which checks the accuracy of the scale by applying a signal to the industrial sound in one decibel steps. The test is performed at the frequency of 1000 hertz.
