An evaluation of mufflers to reduce punch press air exhaust noise.
Noise Control Eng 1975 May; 4(3):120-123
Several commercially available mufflers were evaluated to determine their effectiveness in reducing the air exhaust noise induced by some punch presses. Data are reported on muffler efficiency in terms of the expected noise reduction and the probable time increase necessary to exhaust a particular volume of air.
