Abstract
Concentrations of sodium-hydroxide (1310732) and of mineral spirits as determined from samples collected in the workers' breathing zones in an automotive company (SIC-3711) are found to be nontoxic. Employees working directly above the vibrator where mineral spirits are added are advised to wear protective equipment since they are exposed to high concentrations of sodium-hydroxide.
