Abstract
Supplement to the final report on the development and validation of a method for the determination of the cost/benefit effectiveness of occupational health programs, presenting additional technical data developed during Phase I of the project. Topics covered are: cost/benefit effectiveness; general systems model; discussion of utilization of services data; construction of population-to-service matrix; application of accident data for population-to-service matrix; experience with task and job description; the mathematics of time study method; effects of population class on resource utilization; determination of benefits; net cash value; non-dollar benefits; first report of injury or illness; allied health personnel.
