Abstract
SIMTRAC is a computer program prepared to provide engineers, educators, designers, and safety specialists with a tool for investigating the motions of the agricultural tractor under a variety of operating conditions. SIMTRAC is a Fortran IV digital computer program developed to simulate the motions of tricycle type and wide front end tractors. The program provides detailed information for observations of tractor responses to terrain and operator inputs. SIMTRAC was initially developed for the simulation of tractor overturns for a wide variety of operating conditions.
