Environmental investigation of the production services building of a large television studio indicates that the potential for toxic effects from paint spray operations to employees is at a minimum as long as existing materials, precautions, and controls are employed. The conclusion is based on relatively few complaints, lack of present and past history of health effects traceable to paint spray constituents, lack of highly toxic materials in the paints used, and the sporadic, limited nature of spray operations which minimizes exposures.
