Abstract
Air sampling, employee interviews, and examination of health records at the loading dock of a freight carrier reveal that the carbon- monoxide (630080) levels generated by forklift trucks are not hazardous to the health of the employees. Environmental samples taken in the area of the operating forklifts indicate carbon- monoxide exposure well below the prevailing standards.
