Project Scope


  • Ensemble performance evaluations are specified in NFPA 1991 to be conducted with Open Circuit Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (OC-SCBA). The NFPA Technical Committee (TC) has concerns with the practice of NFPA 1991 ensembles are being worn with CC-SCBA. Issues have been raised related to internal overpressure and oxygen build-up
