Project Scope
- Provide technical, training and analytical support service in the development of guidance documents related to the selection, use and maintenance of personal protective equipment including NIOSH CBRN approved CBRN respirators.
Milestones
- Task #1 - Completed Final Contract Report on requirements and existing gaps in information necessary to develop effective training programs on CBRN respirator selection, usage, and maintenance.
- Task #2 – Completed final draft of five (5) booklets and CBRN Training Guide
- Task #3 - Draft CBRN Respiratory Protective Device Handbook was completed and reviewed by the RPG

Outcomes
- Enable responders (law enforcement, corrections officers, firefighting, and emergency medical services) to comply with NFPA 472 and 473 standards and OSHA 29CFR1910.120 training requirements and support industrial hygienists and other occupational safety and health professionals to prepare respiratory protection programs which comply with 29CFR1910.134 requirements
