Project Scope


  • Measure filtration performance of filtering facepiece respirators against nanoparticles
  • Using manikin head form measure face seal leakage and filter performance of respirators against nanoparticles
  • Determine most penetrating particle size for surgical masks, dust masks, N95, P100, and FFP2 filters

  • Collaborating with IRSST, Montreal, on a research project concerning respiratory protection against nanoparticles
