Project Scope
- Develop stored thermal energy test method and apparatus
- To assist in the completion of the ASTM standard within the F23 Committee on Protective Clothing and Equipment
- To provide recommended application and criteria to NFPA 1971 TC
Milestones
- Q1 Participate in ASTM Task Group Meeting and complete Public Comments to NFPA 1971 for recommended method and criteria
- Q2 Support ballot during ASTM F23 Meeting and Facilitate testing set-up at an outside lab
- Q3 Provide update at NFPA Meeting and continue testing at additional laboratories
- Q4 Complete Public Comments to NFPA 1971 for finalizing criteria
