Project Scope
- Develop stored thermal energy test method and apparatus
- To assist in the completion of the ASTM standard within the F23 Committee on Protective Clothing and Equipment
- To provide recommended application and criteria to NFPA 1971 TC
Milestones
- Q1 Develop Statement of Work for NCSU for FY09
- Q2 Provide update to structural TC at NFPA Meeting and Initiate Contract to NCSU
- Q3 Participate in Task Group Meeting and support ballot during ASTM Meeting and Facilitate testing set-up at an outside lab
- Q4 Complete testing to determine length of exposure recommendation and Complete Public Comment to NFPA 1971 for recommended method and criteria
