- NIOSH membership and participation on ASTM F23 and E54 committees in support of ASTM-NIOSH MOU involving determination of performance criteria and development of test methods, product specifications, practices, guides, classifications, and terminology related to worker and emergency responder protective clothing and equipment.

- Q1-4 Revision, re-ballot, and final approval of proposed new F23 standard WK 9186 Standard Practice for Permeation Testing Data Analysis by Use for a Computer Program
- Q2-3 Attend F23 and E54 committee meetings in Jan 09 and June 09
