Project Scope

  • The National Academies Committee on PPE will provide the PPT Program a standing committee to address emerging issues and needs and provide scientific input to program development and implementation.


  • 2Q FY09 – COPPE Meeting to discuss the PPT Program Implementation Plan and emerging issues
  • 2Q FY09 – COPPE Meeting to discuss intramural and extramural PPT Program interactions and potential approaches to enhancing collaboration
  • 3Q FY09 – Initiate tasks to conduct workshop on certification of non-respiratory PPE/PPT and additional discussions regarding Pandemic Influenza
  • 4Q FY09 - COPPE Meeting to discuss current issues and tasks
  • 4Q FY09 - Initiate updated PPE for HCW and PPE certification committee work
