Project Scope


  • Develop an integrated PPT Cross Sector Program within NIOSH that crosses all sectors and personal protective technologies (PPT) with activities that aim toward reducing exposures to inhalation hazards, dermal hazards, and injury hazards.

  • 1QFY07 - Information Gathering
  • 2QFY07 - Evidence Package Prep
  • 3Q FY07 - Evidence package finalized and submitted to NIOSH OD
  • 4Q FY07 - Prepare and participate in First NA PPT Committee meeting

Outputs

  • National Academies Report expected one year from date of first Committee Meeting: Approximately Oct 2008

  • Reduced exposure to inhalation hazards
  • Reduced exposure to dermal hazards
