Current Information can be found at: Surveillance of Programs Using Respirators - Respiratory Protection Program Interventions in the Road and Transportation Building Industry - FY08

Objective

  • This project will evaluate and improve respirator use in the construction industry, as well as evaluating the interface of respirators with other PPE. The project will develop interventions that address shortcomings in current respiratory protection programs. The success of those interventions will be evaluated to demonstrate an improved level of protection provided to respirator wearers. We will continue publications and education about respirator use and practices.
